Art can be a powerful tool for discovery. Through the act of making art, we are often confronted with our emotions, thoughts, and desires. The creative process allows us to explore aspects of ourselves that may otherwise remain hidden. As artists we are developing a tool to become more sensitive - allowing us to look more closely and interrogate the way things have been presented to us, expanding the way we look at, and interact with the world. My job as a mentor and tutor is to help you navigate this journey.

As we engage with materials, colors, and forms, we uncover new layers of our identity, becoming aware of our fears, our dreams, and our strengths. Whether through deliberate exploration or spontaneous expression, art offers a space for introspection and personal growth. It becomes a conversation between the artist, their subconscious and how they relate with the world.

Through an art practice, we gain not only a deeper understanding of our personal narrative but also a profound connection to our sense of purpose and meaning. In the process of making, we may find clarity, confront vulnerability, or discover new perspectives on the world around us. Ultimately, the act of creating art is an ongoing process of becoming—of evolving and learning who we are, what we value, and what we seek to communicate.
