Teaching and Creative practice mentorship

My art practice is a path of research and self discovery, something that brings me closer to the essence of who I am. Part of that journey is understanding and refining what I want to create and why.

I have given talks at the Courtauld Institute of Art, been a visiting tutor and lecturer at Brighton University and teach at the Essential School of Painting. As well as being a visual artist I am also a certified Ashtanga yoga teacher. My twelve year journey with yoga, breath, movement and sound is very connected to my creative practice, and has led me to being the Oxford Centre for Hindu studies artist in residence where I am sharing and exploring ideas around yoga, tantra, ritual practice and its relationship to visual material.

I offer one to one mentorship in creative practice, technical skills such as developing your understanding of light logic, colour mixing and oil painting techniques as well as guidance in developing your personal practice.

Following a half hour session to establish your ambitions and objectives I offer 1 - 2 hour sessions.

According to your needs I creates bespoke sessions that encompass my holistic approach. As well as sharing technical skills

You may choose to highlight other things like courses or programs, or to share special features about your business that you want to promote.

Rosanna is a wonderful tutor and mentor. She is very thoughtful, warm, and engaged. She has a deep knowledge of art history and painting techniques as well as contemporary art, films and culture, and has offered really stimulating inputs and reflections which have stretched my painting practice.

I feel very lucky to have had Rosanna as a tutor at a point in my practice where I’ve been moving into unknown and at times quite vulnerable territory.

Working with her has given me more courage to be true to myself and trust in what is emerging. I can imagine the process would have been much harder and less fun without her. I would highly recommend her as a creative mentor.
